Karen and her husband Eric stopped at one of our garage sales that we were having to prepare to sell our home of 28 years. My husband, Ralph was talking to them when I came out and Eric asked if we were planning on selling and Ralph said yes. I am chemically sensitive and having people in my house is not a good thing. If someone comes in with a heavy fragrance on it can ruin the rest of my day or even the week. After dealing with a couple of nonfragrant neighbors I realized that I couldn't be doing this myself. After being in the Keys for 42 winter seasons, leaving was not going to be easy and Karen was also sensitive to this. I called Karen and she came over and we had a long talk. I explained my chemical sensitivity and the problems I had. She was more than willing to help me with this. We had some ups and downs and a very problematic buyer. Karen was more like a friend but when it came to business she was all business and explained things very well. When we needed her she was right there, no questions asked. My husband had another realtor in mind that I knew a little bit and this person always made me feel like I was beneath her and I refused to use her. Meeting Karen was meant to be. I was more than happy to recommend her to two neighbors/friends and Karen has already sold one of the houses and working on the other. We have been thinking of making a move from MI to TN and she even offered to help find a realtor there. We couldn't have asked for a better realtor to help us sell our Key Largo Home. My only regret is that I would have liked to stay in Key Largo and continue our friendship! I wish her all the luck in the world and thank her so much for helping us through a very stressful time.
